I am 7 years post gastric bypass and did not use protein powders because of the nasty taste and aftertaste.

I started to use Chocolate Splendor when I first learned about it's release and I love it!

In the blender I put 8 ounces of almond milk, 5 or 6 frozed strawberries, sometime half a bananna and blen away. I use this every morning and have found that I have more "brain power" in the morning and feel much better than I did.

Ii am ordering the Cheese protein powder and can't wait to try that after reading all of the positive reviews.

I am 8 months out from bypass surgery and have tried so many protein supplements but UNJURY is by far the BEST tasting supplement available! I always get quick responses from the dietician whenever I email or call with questions. Exchanging products is hassle free as well. Right after surgery I had trouble tolerating a product....one email later I was able to return the product and exchange for another product with NO HASSLE!! Fantastic company to work with! I bought the sample pack of Unjury flavors and Chocolate Splendor was the second one I tried. I mixed it with a little milk, tasted it and decided it was very nice, not chalky but needed some ice to be colder. I put some two ice cubes in, and then a tsp of decaf coffee. Whoa! It tasted just like an Iced Mocha! It was just such a nice surprise and wonderful change to what I had been having on my pre-op diet. I'm 3.5 weeks away from having gastric bypass, so I'm trying different things ahead of time so I'm prepared. Unjury was recommended by my surgeon's office, so I got the sampler pack. I just tried the chocolate splendor at lunch today and WOW! I'm shocked and amazed! No weird taste, no chalky or gritty texture...it smelled and tasted like smooth chocolate milk. I plan on trying the chicken soup one tomorrow and if the chocolate spendor is anything to go by, I think I'll be very happy!

I just wish the unflavored could be used in baking, I would love to add it to my crustless mini quiches! (Posted on 11/15/11)

I had gastric bypass a few years ago. Recently I saw my weight slowly starting to creep up 10 lbs. So I started drinking shakes for two meals a day and eating fruit snacks twice a day and one regular meal. So far five pounds have dropped off in 4 days. The Chocolate Splender is absolutely delicious and it's been easy to get back on track. It re-set my appetite, too. I feel so much better since drinking the Unjury again. They have the best products - period. I'm sticking with a shake for 1 - 2 meals a day from now on. I have so much more energy! (Posted on 11/1/11)

My favorite is the chocolate splendor. It is not gritty, no aftertaste and not overly sweet. I love it with skim milk, a teaspoon of peanut butter and ice buzzed up in the magic bullet! It is my every day breakfast and at least 1 snack a day. (Posted on 10/16/11)

My first purchase from Injury was their starter pack. It came with a couple of packets of chocolate splendor, strawberry sorbet, vanilla, unflavored, chicken soup, a food thermometer and a shaker type bottle. The chicken soup, chocolate splendor and unflavored are amazing! The chocolate splendor has by far been the best tasting chocolate flavored protein mix/drink I've tasted to date. And since my bariatric surgery just over two weeks ago, I've tried a lot of different protein drinks available at my local health food store and vitamin store and hands down chocolate splendor is the best. I love that it isn't so rich but yet full of protein. And the chocolate flavor is like drinking a hot chocolate (or cold). There's is no vitaminy aftertaste and super sweetness that I find in other drinks. After just drinking my first sample of the chocolate splendor, I immediately ordered 2 containers of the stuff and have no desire to purchase any other brands in the future. Although I didn't care for the strawberry or vanilla flavors, that probably due to my tastes since I don't usually care for those flavors in general.
