Weight Loss Surgery Patients: UNJURY® Pre-Surgical Usage*

Daily Tips:
  • Drink water or sugar-free beverages as needed during the day.
  • Consult your dietitian or physician for fiber recommendations.
UNJURY Mixing Ideas:

With milk
  • Add 1 scoop of Chocolate or Vanilla UNJURY to 8 ounces of skim milk. For lactose intolerance, use soy or Lactaid milk. Shake or stir for 15-20 seconds. Protein: 28 grams per serving
Non milk
  • Add 1 scoop of Unflavored UNJURY to 8 ounces of fruit-flavored Crystal Light Sunrise Classic Orange, Raspberry Ice or other fruit flavor. Shake or stir for 15-20 seconds. Protein: 20 grams per serving
  • Add 1 scoop of Strawberry Sorbet UNJURY to 8 ounces of water or Crystal Light Lemonade. Shake or stir for 15-20 seconds. Protein: 20 grams per serving
  • Add 1 scoop of Chicken Soup Flavor UNJURY in 8 ounces of nicely warm water (not too hot, approximately 130 degrees or less). Stir until dissolved. Protein: 21 grams per serving

  • 1 cup Tomato or V-8 Juice
  • 1/2 cup cream of wheat or oatmeal
  • 1 cup sugar-free pudding or UNJURY Hi-Protein Pudding (see recipe below)

  • 6 ounces Dannon Light N Fit yogurt or sugar-free yogurt

This diet does not meet adequate vitamins and minerals to meet daily requirements. A multi-vitamin is recommended daily. If milk intake is limited, Calcium supplementation is recommended.

Cafe UNJURY

Add one scoop of Chocolate UNJURY to warm coffee, decaf or regular, (not too hot, approximately 130 degrees or less) for a mocha taste.
Protein: 20 grams per serving

Add one scoop of Vanilla UNJURY to warm coffee (not too hot, approximately 130 degrees or less), decaf or regular, for a rich cappuccino taste.
Protein: 20 grams per serving

 
Hi-Protein Jell-O

Use Sugar Free Jell-O, 4 servings package, with any UNJURY flavor.

Follow package directions for dissolving Sugar Free Jell-O in 1 cup of boiling water.

After dissolving, set aside to cool for 3 to 5 minutes.

In a different bowl, measure 1 cup of cold water.

Add two scoops of Unflavored UNJURY to cold water, one scoop at a time, stirring slowing to dissolve.

Stir UNJURY mixed in cold water into dissolved Jell-O.

Chill quickly. The protein will settle somewhat to create a smooth cloud at the bottom. The taste is unchanged.

Protein: 10 grams per ½ cup Jell-O

 
High Protein Pudding

Use Sugar Free Jell-O Instant Pudding (Not Cooked) 4 servings package.

Measure 2 cups of cold milk following package directions.

Add two scoops of Unflavored UNJURY to the two cups of cold milk.

Thoroughly mix the UNJURY powder with the milk by shaking or stirring.

Then follow pudding package directions by putting the Jell-O Sugar Free Instant (Not Cooked) Dry Pudding Mix into a bowl. Pour in the previously-mixed UNJURY-plus-milk.

Mix and Chill and Enjoy!

Protein: Each 1/2 cup serving has 14 grams

*Suggestions for flavors:
